Mark Williams
CO-FOUNDER AND CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER
Dr. Mark Williams is a highly respected figure in both medicine and organizational leadership. Dr. Williams is the Medical Director and a founding member of PMx Labs. In addition to his medical practice, he holds a law degree from the University of Alabama and an MBA. He was Chief Clinical and Academic Officer for Palmetto Health System, the largest health system in South Carolina, overseeing nearly 4,000 physicians and managing a $4 billion revenue operation. He was interim CEO and Chief Medical Officer at North Mississippi Health Services, the largest non-metropolitan hospital in the United States, and Chief Physician Officer at Bozeman Health in Montana. In Birmingham, AL, he served as Chief Physician Executive at Brookwood Baptist Health and as Chief Medical Officer of St. Vincent’s Health System

Vincenzo Guracello
CO-FOUNDER AND LEAD SCIENTIST
An accomplished scientist and scholar in the fields of Genomic Medicine, Clinical Pharmacology, Neurobiology, Biochemistry, and Oral Physiopathology. He holds U.S. and International patents. Dr. Guarcello has a diverse postdoctoral training background, including fellowships at New York University and the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). His academic positions at UAB spanned from Instructor to Assistant Professor in Clinical Pharmacology. Later, he served as Co-Founder and Laboratory Director at two successful Birmingham, AL clinical laboratories. Dr. Guarcello has numerous publications in neurobiology, endocrinology, and immunopharmacology, contributing significantly to scientific research with studies on bromperidol, calcitonin, phosphatidylserine, and various immunomodulatory agents. His work includes notable patents in the fields of toxoplasmosis treatment and ubiquitin-protease pathway modulation.
